This dreamy piece is hand thrown on the potter's wheel in pigmented lavender porcelain, then brushed with a combination of sage green, blue and lavender clay slip throughout. A clear glaze is applied for the finish, with white floating glaze as accents throughout. As a result, this piece captures the fleeting beauty of a green and lavender light through clouds at sunset. The bottom portion is left unglazed to reveal the natural texture of clay. Please note there are two small clear dots on the inside of the piece, which is the nature of hand made ceramics.
