This dreamy piece begins with premium quality white porcelain. Blue pigment is then added to the porcelain clay to create the base color. The marbled patterns come from wheel-based techniques that are part design and part improvisation. An clear glaze is applied with a floating glaze that creates soft, hazy effect. Color variations, crackling and light markings are part of the nature of handmade work, and reflect the character of each piece.
