About Cloude Made

Angella So, based in California, created Cloude Made to capture a certain sensibility -- serene, ethereal, a moment in time that resonates long after it passes. She is inspired by the beauty of the California coastline -- the ocean, the sunset, and the limitless range of the light. Her ceramic pieces are hand-thrown, many of them altered with hand building techniques, and are glazed in a neutral palette that varies in shade from water to stone to cloud. Her work includes functional ware such as matcha bowls and decorative items.  Prior to ceramics, Angella spent many years in fashion design.  She has a BFA degree from Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris.
