A special piece made for the anniversary of the cherry blossom collection. This piece is made of pink porcelain. The three dimensional petals are created by clay slip and etching. Pink underglaze is then applied to the florals for depth. It is then finished with a clear glaze and a white floating glaze throughout as accents and to create the effect of movement. A piece that resembles cherry blossoms blooming and drifting in the air.
